1 Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Aaj Clean ("we", "us", "our", or "Company"), operated from A-12, Chattarpur Extension, New Delhi - 110074. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our doorstep laundry, dry cleaning, steam pressing, shoe care, and premium garment care services booked through our website, WhatsApp, phone calls, or retail store outlets.

By booking a pickup, placing an order, or handing over garments to our pickup agents, you explicitly agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any provision of these terms, please do not utilize our services.

2 Services & Pricing Structure

Aaj Clean offers daily laundry by kilogram, professional dry cleaning per piece, and white-glove bespoke care:

• Daily Wash & Fold: Charged at ₹79 per kg (net dry weight measured at our processing facility).
• Wash & Steam Iron: Charged at ₹99 per kg for everyday wearable items.
• Woolen & Heavy Wash: Charged at ₹110 per kg for sweaters, heavy shawls, and winter woolens.
• Dry Cleaning: Charged per item according to the published dry cleaning tariff card (suits, sherwanis, sarees, lehengas, jackets, etc.).
• Minimum Order Value: A minimum bill amount of ₹249 applies for free doorstep pickup and delivery. Orders below this value may attract a nominal conveyance charge of ₹49.

* Note: All prices are inclusive of normal detergent, softening, and steam ironing unless specialized restoration, stain removal, or chemical treatment is requested and agreed upon in advance.

3 Pickup, Inspection & Digital Tagging

• Personal Belongings: Customers are strictly advised to thoroughly check pockets and remove all valuables (cash, jewelry, pins, cufflinks, pen drives, receipts, pens, keys) prior to handover. Aaj Clean accepts no liability for loss or damage caused to or by articles left inside garments.
• Garment Count & Weighment: While our rider may note an initial garment count at your doorstep, the official weight, itemized check, and stain inspection occur at our centralized facility under CCTV recording. If any count mismatch or pre-existing damage (tears, missing buttons, color bleeding risk) is identified, our customer care team will notify you via WhatsApp or phone before processing.
• Turnaround Times: Normal delivery time is 24 to 48 hours for standard wash & iron laundry, and 48 to 72 hours for dry cleaning. While we make every effort to meet promised time slots, external factors (traffic, heavy rains, fabric drying conditions) may cause minor delays.

4 Fabric Care, Stains & Color Bleeding

We follow manufacturer garment care labels strictly. However:

• Pre-existing Stains: While our expert spotters use eco-safe German spotting reagents, complete removal of stubborn, aged, chemical, or dye stains cannot be 100% guaranteed without compromising delicate fiber integrity. Processing is performed at owner's risk for aged stains.
• Color Bleeding & Fastness: Certain fabrics (raw silk, hand-dyed cotton, unbranded fast-fashion garments) bleed color naturally. We cannot be held liable for inherent color bleeding or shrinkage where fabric dyes or weaves are chemically defective or non-colorfast.
• Embellishments & Buttons: Designer buttons, delicate sequins, beads, zippers, shoulder pads, and ornamental metal trims are processed with maximum care; however, we cannot take responsibility for factory defects, loose stitching, or wear and tear of trims.

5 Loss & Damage Compensation Policy

Aaj Clean treats every garment with utmost integrity and care. In the extremely rare event of verifiable physical damage or irreparable loss caused directly by our equipment or negligence:

• Any complaint regarding missing items or damage must be logged within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence and original bill copy.
• Subject to internal verification and inspection, our maximum compensation liability for any lost or irreparably damaged regular garment shall be capped at up to 10 times the cleaning charge of that specific item or up to a maximum cap of ₹2,000 (whichever is lower), unless declared as a high-value piece in writing beforehand under our Premium Care coverage.
• Normal fabric depreciation, age-related wear, thread exhaustion, or damage resulting from pre-existing holes/tears identified during tagging will not qualify for compensation.

6 Billing & Payment Methods

Invoices are generated electronically and delivered via WhatsApp/SMS upon completion of quality audit.

• Payments must be cleared in full either at the time of delivery or via digital payment links prior to delivery.
• Accepted payment modes include UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, Debit/Credit cards, and Cash on Delivery.
• Clothes will only be handed over upon successful receipt of the invoiced amount.

7 Unclaimed Garments

Garments ready for delivery must be received by the customer within 30 calendar days of intimation. Garments remaining unclaimed after 30 days will incur a holding storage fee of ₹50 per week. If uncollected after 90 days, Aaj Clean reserves the right to donate or liquidate the garments to recover storage and handling costs, with zero remaining liability.

8 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
